Buy now or later?

I'm planning on going on a road trip to CA leaving tomorrow ~1000mi drive from Colorado Springs, though i'm trying to decide if I should replace the tires now, when I get back, or sometime while i'm there. The tread depth is at 3/32nd's currently... Was looking to replace with Eagle GT's but they seem to be out of stock in all the correct tire sizes everywhere i've been looking around here.

Agreed. The trip will also be long enough to scrub in the new tires on the highway instead of around town.

1000 miles is really nothing. If your tires are evenly worn, and it's not going to rain, you'll be just fine. Get some new tires once you're there, if necessary.
