tire size should i stretch?

Its time for me to buy new rear tires and i was wondering what people are suggesting to run with the 19 inch oem rims. Im currently lowered on tein cs and im running 25mm spacers in the rear. The tires are about .5 inch away from the tire wall. the car is sitting right on top of the tire with like .25 or less inch gap. What tire size should i buy without causing it to rub? currently im running oem tire size.

I'm against stretched tires especially if you actually drive your G. If you have the OEM 19" rims I'd still run the 245s and either get smaller spacers (sell yours) or have your fenders rolled.

Roll your fenders, then this wouldn't even be a problem anymore

my fenders are already rolled. Any pros of getting stretch tires? any pictures of a stretch tire on OEM rims.

i would say..invest some time searching.. there is a HUGE thread on this

and why would you stretch tires on the oem wheels? i personally like stretched tires, but i know the cons associated with them, so only stretch if you NEED to.. don't stretch on oems it will look stupid

uhm they don't stretch their tires on oem wheels like i said they stretch in order to fit in the wheels and to keep the rubbing to a minimum.. that is pretty much the only pro, the cons pile up

Already have rolled fenders....next solution!

tightvpkid, apparently you bought spacers that were too big. Replace them with ones that will allow you to run the tires your G came with. We all make judgment errors, don't feel bad....

i don't see what the problem is if there is 1/2" of clearance. The widest you can go on the OEM wheels is 255 anyways. There is no way you run into clearance issues

Only stretch if you need to. And there's no need for that with your setup.

Stretch on the OEM 19's wouldn't look good at all. You would have to run 225 or less on an 8.5 to have any stretch. And I don't see why anyone would run such puny tire sizes.
