Just Installed my S-Techs

Couldn't be more happy with the ride and feel!!. Installation on the passenger front was hell but it was worth it.

Re: Just Installed my S-Techs

Tein claimed 1.2" in the front and .9" in the rear. Essentially it gave me no wheel gap which is exactly what i wanted.

Well since no one's asked the obligatory question, I guess I will: did you need a camber kit?

Re: Just Installed my S-Techs

wow, nice choice of wheels. size and offset?

yes, you will need a camber kit or they will eat up your tires. i'm only dropped on htechs .6 front .3 rear and i have a lot of negative camber.

Like the new stance of your car. It'll look better once you put the wheels on.

19x9.5 and 19x10.5 both with +22 offsets. That pic is of the 10.5 rim. I was hoping the shop can get me the closest possible to stock. I had a 96' impala dropped 2" and they lined it up good. I'm hoping for the best!

Re: Just Installed my S-Techs

you should be fine because of the negative camber you will have from the drop. now, if you weren't drop, then you might have rubbing issues. i ordered some gold sf challenges 19 x 9.5 +28 19 x 10.5 +22

Re: Just Installed my S-Techs

I'm thinking about getting these springs now that I seen your pics. Ideally I was waiting for H&R to come out with springs cause I've had good experiences with them.

1. When looking at the car, does the front sit noticably lower compared to the rear? I prefer this look and I noticed the fenders on the G can create a look where the front/rear is equal...or worse case the rear is lower!

2. How is the ride relative to stock? I'm guessing you'll probably have to upgradge your shocks one year from now.

Thanks for your input.

Re: Just Installed my S-Techs

The stance of the car has a little more height in the back, not much. And the ride is like stock. I honestly cant tell I have springs on unless i go over a speed bump. Bumps in the road feel the same as stock and you arent bouncing or anything like that
