i currently have the stock size tires on the back of my car, but i need new ones and am looking to upsize a little bit

i now have 245/35/19s in the front... what size should I get for the rears that won't upset VDC etc?

You compared a 245/40 to a 255/40 in your chart. If change the front to the 245/35 you are currently running the diameter difference becomes 4.74% which exceeds the recommended max difference of 3%.

Could be a problem.

wait, so with the tire size calculator, i need to compare the front tire size i currently have with the rear tire size that i WANT??

what i did was put in the stock rear size (i currently have the stock rear size) and tried to find a wider size for the rears that would work

did i use the calculator wrong?

EDIT:

all i want to do is find a larger size for the rears that will work with my 245/35/19 that i have in the front
