Unhappy Something is seriously wrong here...

I have just finished searching up and down this forum to find an answer to why my fronts look like this:

compare it to the ones I just put on:

I have 19" wheels and they are wrapped with Falkens 425's 235x35x19's

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I just bought brand new fronts (same exact brand), replaced the rotors and brakes and just got an alignment with the new tires and when I go over 4k rpm it is smoking up badly....

I want to go to the guy and tell him how I want it set up. I found the official specs but not for 19" rims. I do drive aggressively here and there but it should not wear down like that.

Any tips, pointers or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Dang those puppies are bald! How long did you have the previous tires on?

Also are you dropped?

Was the alignment shop able to get the alignment within specs? If so I would say you dont have anything to worry about except the smoke, which I cannot offer an answer for...

Camber is way out of wack just take it to any alignment shop to have them check. If its in specs then it may be any part of your suspension could be faulty or broke. Your not hearing clicking or whining nothing just the wear?

Missed a line or two saw you just had the brakes and stuff replaced, it could definately be a little snug and smoking up.

When I bought the car, it was from a kid who was spoiled and his dad owned a body shop. The wheels had quite a bit of meat on them when I got it, I would say that was back in Nov. of last year.

I took it to Pepboys... The master tech told me it was all to specs, but I have read on here that Infiniti didn't really get that all right.

As far as having suspention problems, I should get it checked out, but no weird noises outside the normal rattling and vibrations of the car, nothing under the car... The smoke wouldn't be a big big issue, it's just that last time I dumped into 4th I flooded the whole highway with white smoke and I thought that my tires were going to explode...

That said I won't drive it hard until this problem is fixed, I just find it really strange that it's feathered so bad on the outside and the rears are just fine.

Was the white smoke coming from the tires or the exhaust?

The tires. I have never had a problem with my HKS. In fact when I started burning tires in the first place I got a full diag. test and everything passed, but now that I think about it, I don't know if the suspension was checked... But on both from wheels?

I have an 06 and I too am noticing outer tire wear on my driver side front tire.

Alignment is in spec... The reason why there is smoke is because your tires are burning. This is the same smell I smell while driving.

Could be a worn out bushing, bad compression rod, etc etc. There is a new and revised compression rod issued by Nissan.

^^ where can I go to make sure that is the real problem? The dealership? I just don't want to get hosed when I already spent close to a grand for the rotors breaks and front wheels and alignment....

Any suggestions? or better yet what to ask to be checked for at a shop?

***Update***

I ended up taking the car to a dealership to get a proper alignment and check out the suspension. To my surprise... They told me I was SOL because I have aftermarket rims (19"). I told them to do the alignment with factory 19"s and when I got the alignment sheet back, they said they used 18" factory...

On top of that they just did a point inspection and said that my suspension "seemed" fine. I got back on the road and I am still burning up my front tires really badly.

I'm really stuck as to what it can be. Does anyone here know where I can go in CT to get this fixed for good? Or better yet, narrow down my problem?

I can upload the alignment sheet that Infiniti did but somehow I feel that it would be useless...

Im just going to take a wild guess here, could the smoke be from the tire rubbing inside the fender? Are you positive your tires/wheels clear your brakes and suspension components? If the dealership wont do an alignment with your after market wheels, you should be able to find a shop locally that will.
