I need new summer tires. Size 245/40/19. I am looking for quietness, handling, and most importantly COMFORT. The roads are bad around here.

This is for daily "spirited" driving. My current tires are Nitto Invos

My options are:

1. Yokohama S.Drive
2. Falken FK452
3. Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110

Go with the Falkens, the sidewalls on the Hankooks are too soft, unless you guys have NO potholes at all.... For the price difference between the Yokohamas and the Falkens, save yourself the money and go with the Falkens, just a sticky. Just my $.02

Have had many many people happy with the Hankook. I just got done driving the S-Drive, and although a great handling tire, I thought they rode a bit stiff and were a tad noisy on concrete.

i wouldnt say money isnt an issue, but the s.drive is only $20 more per tire. That is quite reasonable if they are better tires.

I have the v12's and I'm extremely happy with them. Can't say I've owned a set of the other two though.

I have 1200mi on the Hankook tires. Checked them today and I'm still at 9/32 to 10/32" on all four tires. This was checked at the inside and outside of each tire. Cornering is not as great as my previous tires but I still enjoy the fact that they are quieter than my previous tires. The only wet traction I've experienced has been in a severe storm with heavy rain and strong winds, the performance sucked then. My car was all over the road in this rain. Overall I'm happy with the tires especially for the price. I got mine from Tirerack and also had the $50 dollar rebate from Hankook

I've put about 6K miles on my S Drives. They really stick on entrance and exit ramps. No push, no slide, like I'm on rails.

I voted S Drives.

I have had two of the three listed, 452s and S Drives. 452s didnt last very long.. S Drives are a way beefier tire than the 452. Handling on the S Drives IMO, work the best out the two.
S Drives- 3 sets of tires owned
452 - 5 sets of tires owned

Right now, I'm trying out the Nexen N7000, So far so good. Tread wear is good too and taking turns on these, well to sum it all up... I'm quite impressed. Its a really good price too.

alright, couldnt wait any longer. Tires are really starting to get loud and I am starting to feel them slip.

WINNER: YOKOHAMA S.DRIVES

After discounts and rebates, I ended up with the S. Drives for about $150 a tire!

I plan on getting some Yokohama S-Drives as well, heard great things about them. Do the Yoko S-Drive run as a TRUE or Large Size when compared to the Toyo Proxes T1R's and the Falken 452s?
