is 20's too big for speed?
harm? no. it MIGHT slow you down depending on which rims you get and how much they weigh. but if you are going to be super picky about it then you might as well get some 16 inch drag lights
oh im was thinking about getting this one http://www.axiswheels.com/view-wheel/axis-pentagon

Oh yes it can harm the car, not to mention suspension and steering parts. Just think of it this way. Trucks, when they add big tires, they upgrade the gears because if they don't over time or sometimes a lot sooner the transmission will fail prematurely due to mass added that the transmission is not build to handle. The reason 20s are not great for performance is because the weight and OD. The reason the car feels sluggish when you install big wheels is because big wheels kill your torque. Big wheels also put stress on transmission, ball joints and tie rod ends. Looks cool but not worth it if this is a daily driven car.

^ you just didn't notice it.
I went from Axis Matrix wheels (19x8 and 19x9.5) that were roughly 26-28lbs each to my Weds (19x9 and 19x10) that are less than 22lbs each and it was significantly noticeable off the line.

For the winter I switched back to my stocks with winter tires and back again and never noticed. Granted I may have just not noticed it. But if there was a diff I'd expect it to be like putting the AC on, thats a huge load...haha
