Powdercoating wheels, need color advice.
Hey guys, my rays are chipping and peeling pretty bad and the stealership won't cover it so I was gonna get them powdercoated. I have a DG coupe and was thinking either a dark gunmetal, white or gold but Im stuck on a choice. I dont know if I should do lips on them or what, need some advice! It wont be for awhile dont have the cash right now but I wanted an idea. Thanks!

true, true. I just remember seeing a DG with white wheels not rays and I loved it. I didn't think about bronze. I wish I could do photoshop but I have no idea how and ya I agree with you now that you say it, darker is the way to go.

Most painted OEM wheels look worse than the original, but MikeGrote's is the only set of painted Rays 19s I've ever seen that looks like it should've came that way from the factory.

Which are you referring to? I can't find a post by him in the thread.
I'm thinking I may paint my wheels like these:
One of the things to consider is if you're going to track you car or not. I say that because powdercoating, if not done perfectly, can really be a bad idea for your wheels. The paint durability is fantastic but the heat from powdercoating can really screw up your wheel integrity.
