The shocks should be replaced when they are no longer doing their job anymore. You will easily feel that. There is no set timeline to replace shocks and springs. Just replace them when they have worn out and your car is bouncing up and down the road.

Historically, on the Q45, J30, and G20, the oem shocks especially the rear rebound was noticably softer after 30,000 miles and by 60k you could feel a significant difference after replacement especially on rear.
Really depends on bumps per mile and their severity.
Generally passenger side components fail first because that side of road is rougher compared to the road center.
At high mileage the passenger side of subframe [silicone filled bushings] fails first on average 3:1.
