Tire size question
What is your opinion for tire sizing of a 9.5" wide front with +20 offset using a 265/30/19 and 10.5" rear with a +15 offset using a 275/35/19?
Would it be preferable to have a slightly more narrow tire up front?

In my opinion 265 is not enough for the front, 285 is much better (coming from someone with a 285/305 combo)! I would look into doing 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 (26-in diameter and 26.9-in diameter). The 255/285 combo is a much easier tire to source and the sizes are very friendly with each other and the traction control.

I'm looking at getting the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo which fortunately come in a variety of sizes.
My increased sizes were based off of Redline's size suggestion in the OEM19s Tire thread. For references, the sizes there were: 245/35/19 (F) and 255/40/19 (R)
Thanks for the suggestions guys.

^ 255 is actually more money than both 245 and 265 and a lot of companies don't carry a 255 so I don't know why you're saying it's easier to source.
Preference though I guess.
He suggested that for a 8.5" rear not a 9.5" or 10.5"

The hankook 255/35 isnt too spendy and from what I recall was fairly common. Unless you're talking about the 255/40?
I still think the 255/35 and 285/35 is a good sweet spot between going stretched and going fat tire with those widths and offsets.

I was just considering wider tires and was hoping to keep things proportional while reducing some understeer. Additionally, I was only using sizes I saw available on Tirerack. Whether those are stocked regularly, I do not know. But I just checking their availability, both 255 widths are in stock.

Perhaps my thinking is off. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
