RPF1 18x9.5/10.5 +15 - Tire Sizes

Sup Everyone,

I couldnt find an answer on this site, so I thought I would ask anyone who has experience with RPF1 18x9.5/10.5 +15 setup What the maximum tire sizes they could run on the g35 coupe.

Im aim for a 255/40/18 front and 285/40/18 rear. Im pretty confident the front will be fine, but am worried about the rears.

if not i will have to do 255/35/40 front and 285/35/40 rear.

Also which aspect ratio would be better for track?

Depends on the off-set that you go with and your suspension set-up.

Im looking at +15. Right now im dropped on eibach (1.1" front 1" rear). my fenders will be rolled and pulled a little.

Also What about running a 255/40 front and 285/35 rear? Does that mess up the ride at all?

the 255/40 and 285/35 is actually what I recommend, keeps you pretty close to stock sizing yet slightly bigger.

For any track use, you need to roll the fenders flat. If you plan to autox taking a corner with even a little speed can throw the tire into your fender. Especially on stock shocks and struts (unless you swapped those out for tokikos or something)

I have tocikos. If i used a tire calculator to compare radius , when i put in 255/40 and 285/35 it gives me a 1mm difference. but i dunno if the calculators are taking into account the tire brands and the rims sizes.

Also does anyone have any experience is hankook v12 is terms of sidewall? I dont want a soft sidewall, thing is this car is my daily driver for the summer, but I still like to take it to the track a few times a month and do some autox.

That 1% difference is acceptable.

From what I know, the V12s aren't super stiff but they aren't squishy nankangs either...

K i figured it all out. Im going to go with a 265/35/18 front and 285/35/18 rear made by hankook rs3s !
Now the question is how many people on here are running this combo? How many are running this combo on their DDs for occasional duty on the track and autox ??? And can a brother get some pictures with this setup? -hope im not asking too much now! Thanks!

BUMP! Does anyone have pictures of their G with 18s on 35 series tires? Fat rubber pics, ie 265/35/18 front and 285/35/18 rear ??? I know Hankook makes this set up.

Im stuck between 35 or 40 series in those sizes, and I want people experiences and pics!

I have PF01's with 255/35 on 9.5 fronts, and 285/35 on 10.5 rears. all offsets are +15. More than enough meat and looks great. The only problem is how low the car gets when you wanna tuck a little tire...
