will 19x10 fit on front?

size 19x10
Backspacing - 6.89" (what does this mean?)
Offset - 35mm
Bolt pattern - 5-112/5-114 (universal)

I am wanting to use the above wheel for front and back.

Has anyone here used a 10" wide rim with +35 offsets for fronts, what size tire you use?

Need to know asap

Thanks

Back spacing is how far the wheel extends backwards from the mounting point (the hub if you will)

If this is for a coupe you're going to want some hefty spacers anyways.

But with zero camber you should be fine with a 10 +35 up front. But like I said, it's not going to look great so if it rubs strut the spacer will only be a perk.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Looking at the back spacing can you tell if the wheel will rub on the brembo brake? My Axis hiro did.
Does this tell you if i need spacers or not?
Does it give you an indication of what size tire and side wall i need so it wont rub on the upper control arm or what ever its called..?

Yes i have 0 camber, i have coil overs but am not slammed..

What do you mean its not going to look great ? im only going 10x19 +35 for front as thats the only size in the wheel left im wanting.

If i can avoid spacers id like to.

Thanks very much, i appreciate your help.

My current wheels fit fine.

19x8.5
Offset: 32mm
Backspacing: 5.94"
Bolt Pattern: 5-112
Tire Size:245/35-19
Weight: 34.0lbs.

19x9.5
Offset: 32mm
Backspacing: 6.96"
Bolt Pattern: 5-112
Tire Size:285/30-19
Weight: 37.0lbs.

When I tried putting the rear 19x9.5 on the front it would hit my brembo so i needed 5cm worth of washers. It has a backspace of 6.96"so with the new wheel being 6.89" does that make it fit or not?

Thanks

It just won't be flush with the fenders... Just my opinion if your happy with the current spes then these are fine.

You need to contact the manufacture to find out if they clear brakes. Brake clearance doesn't have anything to do with backspacing or offset.

I guess I should have asked this before, is this a coupe or sedan?

I would run a 265/40 all around.

Ok so i will email the manufacture about clearing the brakes.
2003 Coupe 6MT

I like the wide rear tyre look thus getting bigger tyres.

Only reason im getting new wheels from the Axis Hiros as the new wheels are on massive discount and wont cost me to upgrade really and i like them Zinik 21

So 265/40 front would fit and not scrub? The Hankook evo V12 doesnt come in 265/40, but has 255/40.. for the rear 295/30ZR19 ...

I will get a cheap 18" wheel when i see them on special and then get same size all round like you suggest . for track days.

Thanks again

Curious why you recommended a 265/40/19 and not 275/35/19?

What car do you have? Coupe, 03, brembos? did you need spacers? pics?
whats the offset difference between +7 and +35?

So 10" will fit but i may need spacers, is that what people are saying ? (until the manufacture says otherwise..)

The difference between a 10in +35 and a 10.5 +7 is that my rim sticks out 34mm (1.34inches) more.

What determines if you need a spacer is the disk of the wheels and mainly the design of the wheels. Test fit them and see if they work.

Do you get any scrubbing? what size tires you running and does sidewall 30-25-40 make much difference scrubbin wise on fronts?

I just never liked the 275 up front lol and 265 is actually a taller so the rerar could go larger if he ever wanted to. With a 275 up front you'll need to drop the rear sidewall considerably.

OP, you're looking at the wrong wheels if you want to do a 265/295 stagger. Besides, unless you're boosted you're actually going to hinder the cars performance with that large and heavy of a tire out back for no reason.

If you're set on these wheels because they're cheap and you DO want to stagger do 265/40 and 285/35 and add 15mm spacers so they'll clear the brakes either way.

More comes into play when you talk about rubbing it's not all tire size.

Please read into wheel offset and wheel width so you can grasp what we're saying.

Im running 275/35 in the rear with a 11. You need a decent amount of rubber on your wide wheels or else a nice pothole will mutilate your wheels lol

^ Not relevant to the topic.....

BUT, you're running a mild stretch on your rear wheels, why? if you're worried about "mutilating" your wheels why not run the proper size tire?
