I am also looking to swap out my stock 18's for a set of volk sf winnings. Like Bzabodyn I have also done a lot of research on sizes that would fit on a stock suspension without any rubbing issues. I am not sure on ofsets as of now but it seems that 19x9.5 255/35 in the front with 19x10.5 285/35 in the rear fits nicely without any issues.

I called up mike at revhighonline...ordered through him...he said that the 285 will rub with issues...and its safer to go with the 275 in the back and 245 in the front...

i took his recommendation....because i don't want any fender rolling or modifications to be done.....

Either will fit - I've seen a 350Z with 19x10.5" +29 in the rear with 295/35 Yoko AVS Sports and he didn't rub (although it was on stock suspension)... 285's should have just enough room (275's should be fine also)

About the lips of the front wheels (+29 vs +19) - there is not a difference in lip size per WWW.RAYSWHEELS.CO.JP - the reason for this is that the +29 is made with minimal BBK clearance and a fatter lip and the +19 is made for BBK clearance... that's why both have the same size lip... look at their sizing chart for SF-winnings if you don't believe me (I've analyzed those things for hours on end)...

By what I've heard, my wheels should be in around the middle/end of Feb. so we'll know for sure one way or another if my research will pay off!

And these are Profile4's wheels specs for future reference...

19x9.5 +19 w/ 245/35/19
19x10.5 +29 w/ 275/30/19

FYI, I also could have gotten this setup to yield similar results looks-wise, but would be more limited when it comes to future tire selection (ie wider tires):

19x8.5 +23 (61mm lip vs 67mm lip of 9.5" +19 and 9.5" +29)
19x9.5 +17 (80mm lip vs 80mm lip of 10.5" +29)

actually looking at the Rays site several days ago is what made me question the lip size to begin with... from what I can tell, the dimension on their website called "rim depth" is the depth of the lip... as offset increases, lip size goes down by the same amount... the +29's are listed as having a 67mm lip, the +19's are listed with a 80mm lip...

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/...?modelName=SFW

if i'm misinterpretting "rim depth" please correct... but their specs combined with common sense about the same width/style wheel w/different offsets seem to point to more offset equalling less lip...

??

Actually..unless i'm reading the chart wrong....both the +19 and +29 offset have 67mm ...for the 9.5 width rim..
so they are the same....

So which is better in the FRONT +19 or +29?????????

And its okay to stretch the 275 tire on the back????? or should it go up to 285???

i made a typo in my last post... i won't edit it for fear of looking "sneaky"... i meant +29 compared to +17... i understand now what bza is talking about... I was only considering the wheels in column "B" as possibilities... prior to this post i had only seen the +17 and +29 talked about...

anyway, is brake clearance an issue with 19's? I mean, Brembo or not, should you be able to run either an offset A or B rim?

Sizes in Column A will definitely fit Brembos, while those in Column B are a crapshoot...I've seen some people with SF-challenges that have a Column B offset in the front and they clear the Brembos, so it is definitely a possibility...

they do NOT come in RBC (Rays Black Coating) - they instead come in RMC (Rays metallic Coating) which is a chrome-look paint (regular chrome, not black chrome)... very nice, but too "bling" for me - I wanted something that was a near color-match to my BS coupe, and I've seen two CS 350Z's that made me fall in love with the combo (I'll try to post some pics)

and by the way, SF-winnings in RMC will run you about $150 more for EACH wheel...

can i ask some question here ...
i have the 19 rims on 9.5 front and 10.5 rear .. offset 22 all round.
trying to lower the G .. but need some suggestion from you guys
should i get the s.tein with about 1' lowing ..(but with the serious camber issue right?)
and the h.tien or htein for Z .. is it really a big deal with the camber issue ???
thanks
