Hey, i have G35x and i wanna get 19" wheels, can i get a 285 in the back? so the rim has about a 3 inch lip?.........n i want 245s in the front........just wondering if this is possible......i would like the rims to be something like 19x9.5 for the rears and 19x8 or 8.5 in the front.......would i be able to go with that setup?

That is the setup Im running on my Z right now 19x8.5 in the front and 19X9.5 in the back with 245/35's and 285/35's. So far no problems...feels good.

Dont think that would work real well in the rear (285) on a sedan. I think 275 is as wide as you want to go on a sedan, and then the offset better be right.

I'm pretty sure 285 won't work.

Also keep in mind that you could end up with problems with the ATTESA AWD if you don't match front and rear DIA.

If the front & back are different diameters,(often the case with staggered setup)
the AWD will see this as slip & shift the drive ratios.

Remember the ATTESA works as a RWD & will bring in drive
to the front as required.
If you end up with a smaller DIA in the back, then you could end up with the ATTESA applying drive to the front all the time.
The big question is just how sensitive is the logic algorithm.
This is really a tech question.
JMO, but I would inquire further before making a wheel & tire purchase

Strongly agree there....especially with the AWD model.

I would go with the 275 for the rear... 285 are going to look too big...
