2008 G35x sedan. Will this tire/rim size work

Hello,

I ride 2008 G35x which is AWD.

I am thinking of increasing my rim size to 19" and with my choice of a certain rim set, I was told that the tire sizes will be:

245 40 19
275 35 19

Will this a problem for the AWD cars such as G35x?

This job apparently has been done for other G35 sedans (they fit) but I am unsure how AWD factor affects this.

How will the performance be affected?

Thanks,

.4% difference in revolutions per mile. Ideally for AWD you want them to be the same. How much differential G35 AWD system can tolerate is a matter of debate.

Let the debate begin!...(again some more)

Hello, thanks for the quick response!
I do not know much about rims/tires but 0.4% sounds like it is not a big deal...what would be the consequences?

Search forum for the many debates, but strain on transfer case, VDC weirdness resulting from sensor confusion, increasing diameter disparity due to differential tire wear since you can't rotate front-back to even out wear, etc. so forth ad nauseum.

They are a tad off front front/rear diameter wise. That small difference may cause drivetrain issues over time.
