Need help deciding
Need help deciding
I am an owner of a non-sport 2003.5 sedan.
After hesitating for so long, I want so opinions on sway bars again.
I know the Hotchkis sway bars has the best adjustability but I am afraid it might be noisy as many people said after installation and also the lack of a collar.
After some time of thinking, I think I might want to stick with my stock suspension if I can't find a set of 04 Z suspension since I don't want a rough ride. Should I buy the Hotckis or dump out a little more to get the 350evo for lack of noise while still getting some adjustability?? Or would someone recommend me doing soemthing else?

i was one of the ones who complained about a knocking noise. after checking the install i resolved the problem and now i just love it. my ride is a bit stiff but i set it on medium/stiff.
there is no "noise" while driving. at least on my coupe. i highly recommend the hotchkis bars.

I bought the Stillen sway bars, but haven't installed them yet. I was deciding between those and the 350EVO set. I stayed away from the Hotchkis set because of all the complaints people on this forum posted.
Do a search, say bars have been discussed to death.

I actually was involved in the other discussions as well but most of them is about people that have modded their suspension as well. I am wondering if stock suspension would be different.
G35noob, what did you fix to cure the nosie???

I say go for the 350evo sways... the Hotchkis sways may or may not become a problem for you. In this scenario go with something that can never go wrong imho. I bought the stillen sways from a promotional sale and never had a problem.
Are you planning to lower the car? If you are, try some aftermarket springs such as the Espelir with the z shocks.

I am thinking about it, I actually wanna keep the ride stock but I am still considering my options. If I can get a 04 Z suspension, that would be great.

Renesis- I recommend you try the stillen swaybars (front and rear) for $280-ish
and see where that puts you. Im using soft front/med rear setup and it is an
eye popping difference vs stock swaybars.
Since you want to maintain stock-like ride, leave your shocks and struts alone for now.

I know many peopel got the stillen and it has the built in collars but I forgot the specs of the Stillen, Hotchkis, Cusco and 350Evo. The last time I considering this issue, I was set on the Hotchkis based on its specs and price but now my budget can be slightly higher.
