I was lookin at 18' SSR GT3's in satin and they say that the offsets that will work with the coupe with brembos is 18x9 with a +31 offset (np their), but an 18x10 with a +41. Will a +41 clear the rear calipers? Even if it does wont they be sucked way into the fender? thanks!

+ 41mm seems very high to me, will be tucked in 10mm more than stock and I don't think they will clear Brembos. You need mid to low 20s to clear the Brembos with a 10 inch wide wheel.

Mine are +41 on the rear. clears just fine. one of the main reasons
I wanted the offset...was tired of looking at G's with tires sticking out
the back.

There's about 20mm clearance with the factory dust boot on the shocks...
so if you have coilovers and using larger diameter shocks in the back,
you'll probably want to get offset spacers.

Do you think you could post a picture of the rear caliper and how close it is to the wheel, I would really appreciate it!

not necessarily when you have a 10" width wheel and running 275's like
me.

sure. also check out my link has more picts of my 19's.
There's PLENTY of room for the rear caliper clearance. I was more worried
about rubbing the inside (which I mentioned above I have about 20mm
clearance).

Neal here from TR. Should be just fine. We have sold that setup many times and it doesn't require any goofy hardware to clear the calipers. IS300TOG35 check you pm

Offset isn't the deciding factor as to whether or not a wheel will clear a caliper. Backspacing is what you should be concerned with. This is even more true with multi-piece wheels where measurement of the dish tends to vary more. Most single piece wheels use the same dimensions with the spokes in relation to the face of the wheel, in which case offset makes the difference. But if you look at many japanese wheel catalogs, you'll find the same wheel with the same offsets and size to have high and low caliper versions. These are designed to fit cars with outboard pistons and thus have a more shallow dish.

As an aside, rear multi-piston calipers tend to need less backspacing than a front multi-piston system as they tend to use a rear drum parking brake. The outboard piston on these stick out only a little from the hub mounting point.
