that's a tough one... after you drop close to an inch on the coupes you'll probably
want to get rear camber rods unless you got some super wide wheels/tires on
and need the extra neg-camber for fitment. The neg camber on the rear can get
as bad as -4.5 at a 1.4" drop (I know, my prokit rear was like that, now sitting
at about -2.5 using stillen rods. I can get it back to spec using toe
adjusters, but since the front is sitting at -1.8, i want a tad more
neg camber on the rear for street).

Drop wise, I think the Sprint springs are closest (from what ive read) to that
drop. next would probably be Eibach Prokits.

Sorry to say, it's completely impossible.

What springs would be recommended for a coupe with out having to change nothing but springs. So basically what I am saying is what springs can I get away with by just swapping out springs and not run into any problems. How much will they drop the car? TIA

Tia,

The closest thing would be 350z springs which have the same spring rate, but are 1/2" lower. However, you can't change the springs on the coupe and keep your camber within allowable specs. I posted on this earlier: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...er+camber+350z
As you can see even folks with 1/2" lower springs were OUTSIDE allowable factory camber specs. From what I've seen, if you want to lower your coupe and want to keep your camber in spec, you must buy the aftermarket camber adjusters. If someone can prove this hypothesis wrong, I'd love to see it!

Mike

350Z TEIN HS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!

i just installed these in my g35 coupe yesterday

front is 26 1/4 from ground to fenderlips rear is 26 3/4 from ground to fenderlips. im going to cut rear bumpstops up top to get another .5 inches out of the rear

THE RIDE IS SWEET handles better and car doesnt break your back when you hit bumps!!!

norcalsti- you should wait at least 3 weeks before changing anything. the springs will settle over time. also, you mean the rubber spring mounts right? not the bumpstops.

edit:
crazymike is right. Also, some of our cars already come with close to -2 on
the rear out of the box. drop it even slightly and you're out of spec.
My car is one of them. 1in drop and it was like -3.5 on the rear with
proper toe-in.. another .4" and over -4. so got the rear rods.

If i ever decide to bring the front back to spec i'll also get the rear toe
adjusters...but not in the near future. car runs good enough for me.

I guess you can also go with Tein H-tech.
It lowers by .6/.3
Quite subtle that it wouldn't go too far off factory spec.

imho, if you're only doing a little drop like less than one inch I would not
touch the springs and just leave it stock.
