Help Please! Best Tire Size For 20s?
I've got DPE 20s on order and I'm trying to decide on the best tire to protect from curb rash. The wheels are 20x8.5s and 20x10s. I'm considering SO3s in 245/35s & 285/30s or Toyos 245/35s & 275/30s.
Will the Toyos provide enough rim protection? I know I can be carefull but I don't trust anyone else to be carefull that might drive my car, like my mechanic. I must decide this week if I want the SO3s because the rebate ends Saturday. Any opinions?
TIA

285's may give you a little more protection. However, If those rims have an aggressive offset those 285's might rub slightly, but fender rolling will help, just depends on offset. With polished lips, you should'nt be to concern with curb rashes, very easy and cheap to fix. Chrome lips are another story.
