iForged Liar Liar Deceiving Liar
sorry to tell you but $150 may not even be enough to to get that small rash polished out and then re-clearcoat the wheel...... you can add another person to the list I currently have iforged now... I was going to order a new set of iforged wheels over the winter but I think I'll go with someone else
this is hilarious...all of the math problems...vince's i-***ged...and he still lives with his parents!!!! I don't think he is moving out any time soon since his business is done

With that said, I have to say that the evolution of this thread has made me lost my sympathy for you. You have taken the tone of an individual sharing a negative experience (in the hopes that we could avoid such an experience) to one of vengeance and ill will. You've been reduced to taking personal, vulgar shots at this guy. And in the process, you're coming off like a royal jerk.
Trust me, your experience has shed a very bad light on this guy (and his company) already. No amount of name-calling and insults will make it worse for him. All it does is make you look bad too... just my $0.02.

I think you have everyone's sympathy and you truly have every right to be upset, especially since you've had a considerable amount of time to let the problem stew. I'm sure venting on this board and others like it can be very helpful and even therapeutic. I'm not at all surprised that you are receiving overwhelming support from the other members who have read about your story. I also applaud your effort in starting this thread: we as consumers need to be aware of businesses that are dishonest, unreliable, distribute a poor product, or (from what it looks like in this case) irresponsible apathy and laziness. Although I doubt iForged (i.e. Vincent Wong) handled your situation with any malicious intent, the dude just dropped the ball and wasn't responsible enough to act accordingly in a reasonable amount of time. What's worse is that he compounded the problem by misleading you regarding your wheel's status. This example alone is reason enough to be wary of their business practices and to steer clear.

Will, I feel your pain.... I ordered iForged wheels last April and they dicked me around for so long that I finally cancelled my order, it wasn't worth my trouble.... so vent for as long as you want, you have a right to!!!!
I am in sales as well. It is a tough buisness especially trying to keep everyone happy. One thing I know is you have to make it up to the customer when you are in the wrong.
1 satisfied customer will share their experience when asked.
1 unsatisfied customer will tell everyone they come across.
There are always mess ups. Its what you do afterwards that earns trust.
I bought a Set of Maya Wheels from RevHigh Online which is one of the sponsors. One of my center caps were stolen I called/sent emails to them to get a replacement they never responded. So finally I decided to write to the Manufacuter Dazz as well. They respond immediately apologizing for the bad experience saying the wheels are on back order. 2 months go by i haven't heard anything I call Dazz again they said they are still on back order. The rep tells me that they have a center cap they can take off another wheel but is the same finish and will fit mine. I'm like great lets do it. They dont except cc so i go western union (paying 12$ service fee). She gets the notice calls me the next day and says "i'm sorry someone just sold it and i'm not sure when another one is available" at this point i'm furious. So I ask to speak to someoen high up also wrote a long email. she calls me back and says we'll have one sent to you. This was Thursday. We'll see if they come in... *fingers crossed*
But whats up with these wheel companies they are slow in reponse.. Dont want to take away from the good vendors out there though.

I-forged is ia of the options list for rims..... I had an online company di*! me around before, after that I wont deal with anyone who treats their customers like that ( except cell phone companies, no choice there)
I'm afraid we get the service that we tolerate. When you have people waiting 6 months or longer for the 'opportunity' to buy a product it's going to swell the head of a 27 year old Carrerra driving mama's basement dweller.
Next thing you know he thinks he's the **** and doesn't need you 'cos he's a friggin' rock star in his own mind.
Companies that have their act together are able to meet demand and they have a team of trained people. Don't give $2500 to a cottage industry setup.
Part of the problem is when we are too nice. The squeaky wheel does get the grease. Walk softly, go in peace, but carry a big stick and when they **** you around don't wait til you're having an epileptic seizure to melt down and post on 86 sites. Call that **** on the mat and make him explain himself. If you are not dealing with the person who calls the shots very politely ask to be passed upstairs "so I can talk to the person who is being paid the kind of money that is line with the can of whoop *** I am about to hand out." They will appreciate the opportunity to dodge that bullet and next thing you know you are talking to the boss. If it's taking a lot of your time take some of his. Phone Vince at home if he is not taking your calls. Phone everyday. Ask his Mom if she's seen the wheel - it's her house so she'll probably answer the phone. Call the better business bureau. Mention 'your friend' who is a consumer reporter. Ask around on this site "Has anyone seen Vince lately? He kinda flaked with my wheel. "
In other words apply the white hot heat to his a$$ and keep it there and you will rocket up the priority list. Customer service is like life - you have to set some boundaries and enforce them - as in the words of POPEYE: I have had all I cans take and I cants take it no more. Then back it up. I feel your pain dude.
PS: & when you do find someone who's service is awesome tell everyone who will listen and grow some positive service karma. And the nut sucking comments are a little over the top. But I understand. Really. You can probably sense the lingering residue of frustrations past in this post.
