I've had a balancing problem with my new tires and wheels since i've gotten them a couple weeks ago. I had them road force balanced and the guy told me that the HP Racing wheels are fine that I have low end tires on the car. I thought the Nitto's were good but he is , naturally, trying to sell me a set of Michelin Pilots which are definately good tires BUT, will it solve the problem is the question. It seems as thought the Nitto's would be ok even if they are a low end tire. H E L P, T H O U G H T S ?!?!?!?!

nitto's are low-end tires, but they should still balance. perhaps the tire is not
prefectly round?

My rear tire has about 3500 miles on it. The sidewall has a 12in crack on it. Ill never buy Nitto's again!

I dont have a pic. I just noticed it while I was putting my exhaust on. It is right in the middle of the sidewall. I got them from a friend that owns a wheels shop. He had to order them.

Well, didn't get the new tires as I rotated the new ones and the vibration is gone. It's definately one of the rear tires. I though, and was told, that the rims with the lips are harder to balance anyway. I'll call and have the tires replaced as they are less than 30 days old. A slight charge is better than the $1.200 I was going to put out. Next time I'll know.
