To lower or not to lower?!

...That is the question?

I like the "simmetrical spacing" between the tire and wheel well line. Not sure if Eibachs will spoil that or not. Thoughts?

Just dropping it 3/4 to 1" makes it look even better. Just save all the stock stuff in case you want to go back.

You'll love it lowered Just get a set of springs that lower the car just a bit. There are many different choices with different amounts of drop.

From a dressup standpoint the ride height is too high. Target it to get
wheel gap that's 1/2 to 3/4 of the tire sidewall thickness. If your offset is
conservative you can go with 3/4, but if aggressive like yours, you'll need
to consider 1/2. just my honest opinion.

Read the many posts we wrote before choosing your springs so you know
what to expect.

Just went out to look at my own car and I must say that was a very helpful and insightful post Kenchan. Thank you.

My only issue is that now there's about a 2" gap simmetrically around the wheel. If I lower it the top of the wheel will be 1". As you move around to the 90 degree and 270 degree spot on the wheel the gap will still be 2". Make sense?

While I think lowering definately gives a sleeker appearance, I just can't do it this time around. The OEM height looks fine, IMO, and I'd rather have the ground clearance and suspension travel. The only way I'll lower is if I end up getting the Nismo S-Tune shocks/springs, but the lowering will be a side-effect of that package, not the priority in getting it.

I was wondering if the Sport tuned suspension on the 05's sits lower than the regular stock suspension?
