Tire size options for OEM 19s?
Hey -
I tried some searches and couldn't find this out, any help would be appreciated! I'm interested in figuring out what the popular tire size choices are for the 19" stock rims on '05 coupes. How much different is it safe/smart to go? I want to keep the sizes right for VDC and ABS purposes, of course, but I would love to have flexibility so I don't have to stick ONLy with 225/40 and 245/40...
Thanks!

Other than the uber-expensive PS2, there don't seem to be many great options in our stock sizes...

I personally want "neutral" handling and 245/40/19 is obviously an exact match of the oem diameter. Most important for me though is a lighter tire. That's why I will replace with Toyo T1R (pilot sport ps2's are even lighter but a lot more expensive). 245 is 2 lbs. lighter than 255 for T1R.
255/40/19 is not too far off in size though so I imagine it would be ok. I think several people on this forum actually use that size.
