I curbed my rim a couple days ago and my heart sunk. I couldn't believe I hurt my baby! Anyway I did some research here on the forums and a place called Mobile Wheel Repair was mentioned a few times. Well I took my G to Steve Frencer who owns a shop at the Jersey Shore today and my rim looks brand new again. It is perfect - you cannot see or feel any defects. I highly recommend him if you leave near the Jersey area.

His site is www.jsalloy.com and his number is (732)988-9111. He was a really nice guy and did my rim in about an hour. Out of all the places that I called price checking, his was the cheapest as well - $132.50 including tax. Much better than buying a new rim. Thanks Steve!!

Any place like that here in Southern California -- Orange County? What do they actually do to the rims?

Curb rash is bound to happen with our G's...
