Wow..Dunlop Winter Sport M3 Review
My quest to find the ultimate snow tires started earlier this year, I ordered my Dunlop Winter Sport M3s on Monday Nov. 21st from Tirerack for 828 bucks shipped. That Saturday I got them installed at a local Walmart for 52 dollars. Good time getting the tires from tirerack as well, props to them, it only took two days.
Well luckily I got these or else I would have been stranded at school. Today I woke up to find a lovely 4" of snow on the ground. I sighed, and headed to the car. I pulled out of the parking garage at Univ. Missouri Kansas City and pulled out onto a road which hadn't been plowed. I was half expecting to get stuck, well amazingly I went up the 20 degree hills and pulled out onto a relatively clear street. All this time, the snow kept on getting harder. I got onto the highway and I kept up 35-40 mph on the Missouri side of I435. As soon as I hit Kansas, the roads (which are in a considerably better condition) were easier to navigate. I took the exit to my home and the local streets had not been plowed, in the 1 hr for the 32 mile drive, this was the deepest snow yet, 5". My driveway is also on a lovely 30-35 degree hill so I figured that would be the hardest part. I went up and in one fluid motion I made it up my driveway. I parked and thanked god for my tires. Last year with the Pilot sports, my car would not get up a plowed and salted road. That is the difference. Who says G coupes can't drive in snow
For the fun part, pics:

Since then, it has snowed about 3-4" more. Hopefully a G coupe can make it through ~7-8".

I absolutely agree with you on the M3's. I installed them this past Saturday and I was very lucky I did so because it snowed the following Tuesday. I drove with confidence in the snow and did not slip at all. Like you, I have a very steep driveway and was unsure if I was going to be able to make it back into my garage. The slip light barely came on when going up, but other than that everything was fine. These tires are amazing, and make a 300HP RWD sports car drive like a FWD on all seasons, if not better. I reccomend that everyone who lives in an area where snow is common and the G is their daily driver, pick up a set of these tires. The investment is well worth it, the stock tires are not meant for snow and will get you into trouble.

Man, classes were cancelled today, I woke up to the sound of a snowblower, there is about 5" of snow on top of my car. I have the stock sizes on my car, and for the other question, I have an 04 6MT so I don't have TPS. Walmart prices are set on every Walmart. I just went to a SuperCenter and said I had 18" rims. Don't scratch them. The guy said he was fine with them, he had installed some fat tires on his 5.0 mustang, so I just stood there and watched him do it. Turned out good.
Hopefully this review helped, I'll take another pic of my car later on with the 5" of snow on it.
