Where's the cheapest place to buy lowering springs

I would like to know what people paid for their lowering springs. I was doing a little searching online and the only place that I found springs was tirerack.com.

They had Eibachs for $280+shipping. Is everbody using Eibach pro-kits?

Thanks,

Paul

Re: Where's the cheapest place to buy lowering springs

I just purchased my Eibach 1.1 Pro kit from a store up the street by the name of VIP Motorsports. They gave me the springs for $250, and $100 for install.

Questions I have:
- Once the springs are installed -- when do i go for an alignment? Do i have to go twice (once installed then again after it settles?)
- Do i need to replace anything else but the springs? I want a smooth ride.. Do i need new shocks?

Alex from Southwest autoworks (goes on altimas.net forums) will give you a good price. I dont think he is allowed to advertise his prices so just check his website out. It is a lot lower than the 280$ pricing

his site is www.southwestautoworks.com.

Ive ordered plenty from him back when I had an altima and he has been true to his word everytime.

I dont think they make shocks for the g35 yet, but shocks that match the springs would be best.

Align your car after your springs settle. Maybe a week or two after you drop the car.

So you align once when you drop it and again a few weeks later?

i think aligning after you drop it is optional unless you drive a lot. If you dont, then you can wait till your car settles into the new springs and then align if you travel lightly.

I saw your PICS; ...nice. Go post it at http://www.rankmyride.com with your exact specifications too. ...How's your handling? Better? Did your sport tuned shocks accepted the new springs?

Sport Tuned, Sunroof, Aero, Leather, Desert Platinum.

Hey kulasse. Is your ride bumpy? any ride quality differences? What kind of pole position bridgestones do you have on?

Re: Where's the cheapest place to buy lowering springs

The ride is a little stiff, but not bumpy. You feel the road a lot more too. Alot of that has to do with the tire setup. I have 19" 245 x 35 Pole Position 2.

I had the car lowered with the stock wheels first to see what the ride would be like....less travel, firm and was not bumpy. On the freeway, it was a little more firmer.
