20" Work VSXX Offset Help

I am getting ready to buy the 20" Work VSXX's. I have a 2005 G35 Coupe with NO Brembo brakes. Im getting ready to place the order by today or tomorrow. Just need advice on offset. Here is what Im planning:

Front 20" x 9.5 w/ +19mm OFFSET
Rear 20" x 10.5 w/ +17mm OFFSET

I will be rolling the fenders in the rear but I just want to make sure it will clear the calipers.

What do you guys think?

Same size all the way around? No staggered setup like 9 in front and 10 in back with 245 and 275?

Sorry about that. its actually staggered.

Front: 20" x 9.5 (+19mm offset)
Rear: 20" x 10.5 (+17mm offset)

2005 G35 Coupe 6MT with NO BREMBO's. I am willing to roll or cut the fenders in the rear.

Any suggestions?

Ok, I ordered my VSXX but with 19x9.5 and 19x10.5, VSXX Offset is a little tricky look at this thread, https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/90635-offsets-work-vs-xx-19-a.html when i ordered my wheels, Chris from F1 motorsport told me to get the +32F and +29R to clear my caliper. +29 Offset on a VSXX is not bad, fact is it yield more Lip than a +19 Volk SF winnings. I say call your vendor or Chris and ask him if that offset will clear your caliper since you're getting a 20.

Yes, OFFSET is tricky....I just placed an order for:

VSXX
Front: 20 x 9.5 (+19mm)
Rear: 20 x 10.5 (+17mm)

According to the place that I bought them, they said it should fit with minor rolling to the rear fenders. I have a local shop thats going to roll it for $40 each fender. Im just worried that it should clear the calipers and the amount of rolling I need to do for the rears is less than an 1" inch cuz we only have about 3/4" to play with. Its gonna be about 2-3 months, but I had to jump on the deal they gave me.

Ok I just hope they are right, I also had the same deal on other vendor but with +29F and +28R he said it will fit then i spoke to Chris and he said it wont clear the calipers. So i ask the same guy to make sure it will clear my calipers so he email Japan Work to make sure... Guess what, Japan said it wont fit... But if you have confidence go for it, but I will just call Chris to make sure it will fit. Plus even with such a good deal from the other vendor, Chris match it.

Other vendor was selling it for 2400 for set and Chris match the price.. plus you can have a choice for a different color on Rivets (Black or Chrome) for free...

I called Chris and he said he doesnt have pricing or info on the 20" VSXX yet, and doesnt know if he can match it.

According to the vendor I bought it from, he spoke with the WORK Guys in SoCal and they said I may just need to roll the fenders for the rear.

I went ahead and emailed Work myself to verify the information.

Do you have the factory brakes or are they upgraded?

Thanks for the info, and Ill let you know what happens.

I agree...Better to be safe and annoying than wait three months to find out its all wrong. But we'll see what happens.

Smile Got some 20" VSXX info

Ok,

I just got off the phone with Jim at Work Wheels and this is what he recommended as far as Offsets for my car:

VSXX Silver
Front: 20" x 9.5 Offset +18mm ~ estimated Lip: 72mm
Rear: 20" x 10.5 Offset +19mm ~ estimated LIP: 90mm

He said as long as my car does not have Brembo's from the factory, These will fit. I can have aftermarket Brembos in the front as long as they are NOT from Nissan or Infiniti because the Brembos from the dealer are wider than the aftermarket ones.

The only thing is I may need to roll the fender in the rears.

So it will be here in about 6 weeks!

Cant Wait!

I'm doing the calculation:
72mm = 2.8367999999999997inch
90mm = 3.546 inch.

Chris gave me a lip for my 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with +32F and +29R
8x's = 3 inches
100 = 4 inches

You should be getting more lip with that offset Or maybe my vendor (F1 Motorsports) are lying to me

It depends on what face/dish/pad type. Offset has nothing to do with brake clearace, only suspension clearance. A different dish type in the same offset changes how much "lip" the wheel has.

Heres what Chris at F1 Motorsport said:

I checked the fitment of Work VS-XX 20" You have to different choices.
20x9.5 +31 (2.83" lip)
20x10.5 +25 (3.55" lip)
this fitment, no require any modification fenders.
20x9.5 +18 (3.3")
20x11.0 +19 (4.3")
This fitment, require fenders rolls for the rear.
Chris

I guess we'll find out when it gets here. Then again, I dont even know what dish type Im getting. All I know is Jim @ Work corrected my offsets to +18mm Front / +19mm Rear when the order was placed, and told me the rear fenders will need rolling. Im hoping I get the 3.3 front lip and the 4.3 rear lip. Ill cross my fingers!
