Offsets

I've read enough to know 20's work fine on the Gcoupe. I actually prefer 19's but I found some wheels I'm interested in but the smallest they come in are 20. The offsets are 18. Is that okay? I like spirited driving and don't want to be worried about safety issues. So, will 18 offset be okay with 20x8.5/20x10? Can I toss the car around?

Is 18 too low for the front?

i take that back... 350z can get +17 front and +18 rear for these new volks that are coming out... but then again every wheel manufactures offsets are slightly different from each other

The wheels are Lorenzo WL12. They are 1-piece forged but sizes are limited. For the 114.3 bolt pattern, they come in 18 and 35 offsets 20x8.5/20x9.5.

I called the dealer and he said just 18 and 35. However, I'll hold out hope until the wheels actually get there...they're not available yet. maybe the dealer was wrong.

The correct offset varies from wheel to wheel. You need to check with the manufacturer or a knowledgeable dealer to know for sure.

+18 on a sedan will not work. +35 maybe, there are people with sedans running +38, I think +35 is doable, but +18 definitely not.

I still don't have a clear answer. Can the 20's with 18 offset all around work okay on the Gcoupe?

Again, ask the dealer or factory rep. Wheel designs vary, and therefore so do the offsets. If the dealer can't answer your question with absolute certainty, don't even try it.

I can tell you for sure that some wheel designs have the same offset front and rear for staggered set ups.
