Rims suggestions! looking for 20's - heres what im looking at

So, i need new tires. With that said, why not go big? =P

Im looking for 20's and ive narrowed it down to Savini SV1's - i like them cause they are pretty sleek. But i dont know anyhting about rims, tires, ect ect, so im looking for some input - is there anything else out there thats more affordable and looks something like these?

Also - what wheel size's do you guys recommend? 20x10/20x8.5? and besides loseing performance - what other downsides do 20's have over stock 19's?

Also, forgot to add. I have a lakeshore slate coupe - with bluebats cutout overlay's both front and rear (just did it other day, so no pics yet), but since i have a black grill (also installed recently, so no pic doesnt show it), and the overlays kinda give it more of a black/blue theme - do you think black SV1's would look better?

Could someone please photoshop the sv1's on my coupe both in black/chrome? would appreciate it!!

Does this sound too good to be true? 20x9.5/20x8.5 - 3.5inch rear lip, 2.5inch front lip - 1000 flat for just the wheels.

They look pretty nice, but im wondering if anyone has ever heard of this brand.... They are Stern ST-2

You should go with Black or Gunmetal ( Sick!! )...

Here is the photoshoot of speedraver's G He went for a very classy look and I love it. The wheels are HRE's & match his car perfectly

As far as buying wheels and tires for $2500 thats cool but I would suggest saving up to at least $3000. Maya RT5's are really nice. Contact F1 motorsports and see what they suggest. I have heard really great things about them on the forum I think you ask for Chris but you can also look them up in the marketplace.

Remember just dont buy cheap wheels you will pay for it in the end!

You spent a lot of time and money on your car you want to make sure your wheels look just as nice and stay that way.

Good luck in your search I hope the info helped

The stern st-2's would look nice in black. It's not too good to be true, i was looking at the stern st7's for a while then decided against them because of the weight. They are pretty heavy but if you dont care about the added weight then they are a good wheel, not the best by far but definitely not the worst.

here you go. Your car is too clean to go with black rims. Go classy but sporty with the chromes.

Don't get chrome man, they weigh too much, they are out of style, and will start to peel after a while.

If you are more into performance, get 19's. If you're more into looks, get 20's.

If I was on a budget I'd get

these....http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/matrix/matrix.html

chrome starts to peel? What do you mean by that? i know a friend of mine has chrome rims for i dunno...4 years now, and they look brand new everytime he cleans them.

The thing is that im on a really strict budget of maybe 2grand total wheel's and tires. I like how the stern's look anyway, saw them on a G here in this pic:

I've heard a lot about people who have chrome wheels, over time the chrome begins to chip, fade, and peel.

But hey man, if you know you want the sterns then get them. It's your car, get what you like.

Definitely post up some pics once you get them on.
