The place I went to get my wheels actually had my wheels in stock, AND the mercury silver ones! I coudn't believe it. There are people here waiting for wheels and this guy has them all in stock, in our sizes. He opened the box for the mercury ones so I could see, but I still liked the gunmetal color for my car. Those look nice!

Discount Tire centers in El Monte California. Their website is www.wheeloptions.com , talk to a guy named Vic or Ralphie, tell them Pete sent you. Don't expect a great deal like what I got, they just happened to want to get rid of these wheels. But they will provide you with a great quote and they have them in stock...

Cool, the first 'other' G35 owner with a Rio MP3 player! I love that thing! I had it on my Si, and I'm planning to install it in my G, just not sure where yet. How did you hook yours up?

Ahhh and from So. cali!! coool... look at the pic on page 2. I shoved it in where the navigation dvd rom would have gone (didn't get navi), and made a custom lighter plug for power and a custom tape adapter for the music... thats just for now until I get the aux in working. Doesn't sound all that great this way,but I can't live w/out my empeg! I actually wanted to try to mount the empeg in that hole perm, and extend the display ribbon cable to make a VFD-faceplate w/ buttons to stick in front of my ashtray. Only problem is, the signal thats going to the display is an unbuffered 3.3 volts directly from the intel strongARM processor. If you aren't into electrical stuff, what that means is doing any sort of lengthening of that cable can induce noise into the processor and blow the whole thing out. I will probably build a buffered circuit to be able to extend the display indefinatly.

All I can say is...WOW! I've been waiting a long time to see gunmetal Volks on a DG coupe and during one weekend I get to see GT-C's and GT-7's - and I'm definitely feeling the GT-7's more! Now I just need to see some gunmetal SF-Challenges to make my final decision... and props on the coilovers, that's a welcomed site for many G35 and Z owners...enjoy the new look, it's definitely sweet!
