Let me just start off and say people who dont agree with me to keep their opinions to themselves unless theyre actually helpful to my cause. I actually need some assistance from somebody who knows about this for sure. Not your cup of tea; then dont post...(thanks)...
I sold my 3rd set of 20" inch rims from my coupe, yes 3rd set... I get bored quickly PLUS everyone and their mother has 20s on a G like it's nothing special. I am looking to switch it up to 21's or preferably 22's. Ive seen it once before and I'm into big rims but not sure what tire sizes and offsets would be necessary to clear the front A-arm (that screw & pin that sticks out under it). I dont see why 255/35/21 or 265/30/22 wouldn't fit in the rear but the front is what I need help with. Anybody who has pics of, has seen or has done 21 or 22 inch rims on a coupe please help out...THANKS!

man i really dont know much detail on this but just think also what is going to happen when the shock is under full compression and with 21's or 22's im pretty sure the full lock is gona rub to fitment might also be easier is the tires are a little thinner but i could be talking out of my @$$

not to knock your choice, but another thing to keep in mind is that either you will be rolling on rubber bands or your speedometer not to mention rolling mass will be way off. you will probably need to doing something w/ the brakes to accomodate for the increase in weight. at least w/ the 20s u were within the 3% margin of error
yes, the pic of of 22" TIS 07.
and i know i will be roling on rubber bands and i dont care if my speedometer says 9mph when im going 50, it doesnt bother me whatsoever (it will actually say about 56 when im doing 60 so the 4mph i can deal with) what i need is some actual advice....will a 22x9.5 fit up front?

what you need to do is call someone who knows, for example get in contact with someone at either Discount Tire or Americas Tire Co (depending on where u live..) and tell them what your looking for. you will probablly have to spend a good chunk of change to get it though, because it might have to be something thats actually BUILT and not made.. like HRE or I-Forged, so plan on spending aroung $7000-$8000 on just rims... then tires on top of that. i personally like the idea, just DONT GET CHROME!!!!!!! go with a high polish or something classy, not chrome.
just my 2 cents...

Hey man, to each his own its your money and your choice! If your going to go over 20, I would say start with 21", as its a good in between size and hopefully will not look as cartoonish as 22".
Take a look at the ZONE Forged 21" Model 4, its custom made so it will fit properly on your car (no sticking out past the fender, etc etc)
Lowenhart also has a few 21" styles, I think the LD-5 would look nice. You can email me for more help

Whats size are the TIS' that are on there now do they rub. I also had trhis question about my g. I have seen a couple of combos that look really nice, One guy had 22 in the rear(NO HOMO) and 20's in the front-the 22's were 285/35/22 which made the rear look real aggressive. and the ova dud had 20's in the front and 21's in the rear. it looked aite because they were full face rims. can you give me some feedback on how your ride is and how those tis's reacted to handling and bumps and pot holes, and waht size worked for you.
