PRT Performance Tuning, Special Holiday Pricing!
I talked to Steve and he has agreed to do some holiday pricing on Tuning for the G35 Club. From now until January 31st 2012 he is offering UPREV tunes for $300/$350 (NA/FI) he typically charges $450/$550. If you do not have an UPREV licence it will cost $300 before he can start tuning. So if you do not have UPREV already it will cost $600/$650 (NA/FI)
Tuning is required to get the most out of your performance mods. Through tuning you gain HP/TQ throughout your power band, your engine will run smoother, and even gain gas efficiency (when you are not driving it hard.) Even if you haven't done much to your car, performance can be improved upon by a good tuner. Tuning is not just for cars with a Turbo or Supercharger, there is a lot of power to be gained by tuning a car with just bolt ons. Also, its not just power you are gaining, if you look at before and after dynos you can see how much smoother the engine is running after a tune compared to before. Not to mention all the power under the curve that you gain. Just because your peak numbers don't change much doesn't mean much. With most tunes I've seen you gain massive amounts of power in the mid range which helps immensely during spirited driving.
We are fortunate enough to have a amazing tuner in the area. To give you an idea of how good he is, people fly him around the US/CAN to do group tunes. This guy has tuned just about everything including a 920 HP Twin Tubo Viper, a 700+ HP GTR, and of course a 600 HP 22PSI E85 Beast of a G35
Here is a thread from when we had a group tune done back in august with Steve

Actually it does..it compares what a stock revup will show on a mustang dyno which steve kan uses versus another dyno. So yes it help and if your bandwidth is affected that much by it then look into upgrading it for some FIOS. . Second it is beneficial if you can calculate some simple mathematics to figure out what drivetrain loss will be. In this case stock is 298hp for revup and his dyno shows 240whp which is ~19% drive train loss on a mustang dyno such as steve kan.
