just bought FX-45...and I have a question

just bought a 04 FX-45......im diggin it for sure but the 2nd day upon starting
im hearing a poping and crackle threw the audio speakers?? this happens for 5 seconds and then its gone?? I have a electronics back ground but with all intermittent problems im not sure what to address first?? anyone ever deal with this??

I've never had that happen. could be blown speakers but you said it goes away so I have no clue.

my friends FX had that issue... its cuz he puts his sound TOO loud and never turns it down before turning off his ignition... Do u still have warranty coverage? If so take it and have take a look at it... most likely the speakers are messed up... sry i couldnt explaim it better

2nd day? You wouldn't even need warranty.. Just go back to the dealer and complain.

My G does this too... Do you have your cell phone around the HU or speakers? Usually my cell phone causes these noises. Usually before my phone starts to ring.

REVISION: took it too my dealer and Bitched just a lil ends up it was the Bose audio amp.....it was replaced under warr. he said its kinda common on with 04 FX's FYI my friends!!!

Wow, nice, glad its fixed. I was thinking a capacitor storing excess noise.
