Just bought a VIS slayer CF hood and I'm having fitment problems all over..does anybody have suggestions? I've already searched all over cant find much on this. Hood catches on top of fenders ( maybe I mis aligned the hood hinges?) hood also has gap all around it from fenders and grill( just got aero catch hood pins for this problem)....sorry have pics but can't post?

I had to pull mu fenders out slightly. Re align them slightly. Also the hood latches or the things you screw th hood into........ Depending on how tight you screw it ininteracts with the angles.

I've seen a couple of cars with aftermarket hoods, and for some reason they all rub or needed the fenders pulled out slightly.

Yea was messing with it today...looks like I'm just goin to buy new hood hinges to make sure I've tried everything to align it....and the gap issues I'm just goin to take it somewhere or TRY to realign fenders if possible

I,may just grind those hooks in the back that catch the hood back.

Well screw you then haha. Every carbon fiber hood I have owned has had to have the front latch moved up, and rubs on the back. But it's so minor. I will barely shave the back down. I will be buying wider fenders though soon instead of paying money to do a widebody on the front. Therefore it should clear but any after market pieces, mean money spent to align everything.

Forgot to mention my car was in minor collision with dumb lady in SUV at a Taco Bell drive thru reveres end right in to me...but I think that's why I have so many problems with the hood hinges...the accident was the reason why I changed my grill to ionic design and changing out the hood with the slayer
