Repair estimate?

I'm currently looking at purchasing a 2006 G35 with some body damage. A deer hit the driver's side fender at 20mph, and a person backed into him leaving a parking spot and hit the rear passenger fender. I'm assuming the quarter panel (I believe that's what it is) will be the more expensive job. I just want to see if the cost to fix is worth the deal.

It would only let me attach two from my phone.

Had a car back into me and had to get a rear quarter panel and door skin replaced, as well as the font bumper touched up and painted. All in was around 5k-6k. Luckily thats why I pay for full coverage, so you would most likely be around that if you had a shop do everything (buy the parts, install, paint). Looks like you need quarter panels and maybe a front bumper? I cant tell if its cracked or can be repaired.

Your damage sounds a lot more extensive than this car's damage. Just the front fender needs to be replaced, which I can do myself. It is the rear quarter panel damage I'm worried about.

IMO this isnt even an expensive repair.. these dents dont even look serious.. i think PDR can fix it. Then just pay around 350-400? for a respray
Ive had a similar dent to one in your front on my rear fender as well, it was directly where the lines are and my shop charged me 180 and it looks like I never even got hit lol

I would say 5-700 for the quarter and better to replace the fender like you said you were. That quarter is definitely repairable so it should be relatively cheap just dont go crazy trying to save money and go to a shop that uses single stage or mid panel blends find a good reputable shop and do it the right way.

See if you can take the car and have a PDR (Paintless dent removal) guy look at it or bring it to a body shop. Easy fix if you are planning on respraying since PDR won't have to worry about chipping paint. Don't cheap out on a paint job, these cars are extremely hard to color match due to the metallic flakes. Get it done right, or don't do it at all.

Theres no way you can pdr that from the looks of it in the pic it looks like the quarter was actually pushed in further than what it is now and someone pulled it out so the tire wouldnt rub and while doing so they kinked the top of the wheel arch in so now theres a huge dent that shouldnt be there. And it looks like the paint cracked already where that sharp crease is and is starting to rust there and where the quarter was pulled back out. Besides theres no real access point for the pdr guy to even attempt it because there is a support structure behind the quarter. Just take the car, if you end up buying it, to a reputable body shop and have it pulled and body worked. Should be more than 1k at the most if not hold out for a better G now adays theyre a dime a dozen.

Or maybe look for a salvaged G, buy the rear panel and get it sprayed to the correct color and then installed? That might be more than what westsideblu suggested though.. Either way good luck!

There's a crease mark on the front bumper. Did you check under the car or test drive it? There could be (hidden) suspension damage. and I'm sorry but that's not damage from hitting at deer @ 20 mph. Try 40, 50 mph...

I would err on the side of caution and have it thoroughly checked...

Yeah now that you mention the bumper you can actually see the paint cracking on the bumper but underneath shouldnt be too bad as the rad support is fiberglass and is rather flexible a new one is around 400 if it is cracked but honestly unless this guy is selling for a really low price I would just wait for a better one
