Question about 06 projectors

i'm considering buying a single 06 headlight because the other side has already been sold. I own an 05. I'm not planning on paying more than 100$ for the 06 light, he rolled the car and the cover broke on it. I would only consider buying the light if the projector lenses are intact...My question is can I use the projectors from a single 06 light to replace the fogs in my 05 housing?

I have been reading a lot about the 06 lights and have not come across an answer for this question yet. Thanks in advance

Are you saying you want to physically remove the headlight from the top of the projector (glass lens) and put it where the fog goes? That is quite the involved process.

so you want to buy one headlight and then transfer the projector into the reflector fogs.
is this something that is already done on the other headlight you dont need to replace and youre trying to make them match again??

You'd be better off buying a set of morimoto projectors from TRS and retrofitting those in your headlights instead of using stock projector ones. Better yet save yourself the trouble and just purchase these already retrofitted headlights from Tony (djhiro).

Thanks for the responses, That did sound a bit tough to do... they're probably 2 different bulb sizes. I'm not paying 800$ for something I could do myself for substantially less but thanks for the suggestion JG

Well 06's only have 1 projector, so youd only be able to do 1 light. Grab morimotos minis, or even the $40 ebay ones. I've had them both and if brand name doesnt matter to you get the ebays. Same thing for way less (besides the new 7.0 morimotos). They ebays come with adapter plates for the H4 bulb in your fogs. Simply bake the headlights open (270 degrees for 7 min), screw the projectors into the h4 bulb hole, wire it up and fuse the lens back on. Easy peasy.
