Found source of rear deck rattle/buzz

It's the rear sub grill. Tap it with your finger. tap-Buzz, tap-buzz, tap-buzz.
At certain speeds and road textures some kind of harmonic vibration makes mine rattle/buzz.

I've been dealing with that same issue. I need to put someone in the back seat and ask them to hold a hand on the grill to see if it'll stop the buzz.

I think I'll go insane if I can't get it to stop!

Same here take it back to the dealer and they should be able to do something. I am dynamating my car this weekend so hopefully I wont have that problem anymore.

I can't believe this new model is starting to show the same problems as previous generations...

Yep. I could understand if it were uncommon problems that didn't show up in testing but when 5 or 6 people come on here with the same problem after only 2-3K miles it makes you wonder how they could not have know about this.

Same goes for the heated seats, the pitting on the grill, loose molding
on the sunroof, etc.

I'm starting to get a feeling that this car was rushed into production with known defects.

No sub rattle on mine, and i pump the music pretty good. Only rattle i have is from the dash/a-pillar area on the passenger side.

the sub rattle in the TL annoyed the heck out of me, and I'm glad my 07 TL Type S got taken back. Had a slew of electrical problems that they couldn't pinpoint, left the car dead. The Acura dealer said it rattled because I had my system turned all the way to 10 for the Bass and it wasn't meant to handle that.... what BS is that?!?!? for the record it also rattled with the radio off when driving.

The rattle is not when I've got the music blasting, it's just buzzing/rattling
while driving down the rd with the music off.

Hearing things like this makes me want to stay away from the G as my next car

No rattles or buzzes here...
Maybe a poll sorted by type? Sport vs. Journey?
Doesn't seem like that would make a difference -

That's what I thought but I think it is coming from the left side of the instrument cluster. Noticable when I hit a rough road. In all fairness, my girlfriends car also rattles on that same part. I will be keeping an eye on it for sure.

I found the source. It's the selt belt mechanisms, just under the rear deck. They tried to cover up the buzz a little by putting little black boxes under the deck that cover the retractor systems. Must be all the springs and guts inside the tensioners. If you tap on the rear deck, you can here the faint rattle/buzz. Not sure that can be fixed. Any ideas?

No rattles for me on the rear deck. I wonder if Nissan fixed it in later cars.

I however have a rattle under the front passenger seat, sounds like there is a marble in the seat tracks.
