HKS HiPower Exhaust

HKS has used my car to prototype their upcoming HiPower exhaust for the G35 Sedan. It is an axle back design, so its very quiet. EDIT: The stock noise level is measured at 83db. With the exhaust, the noise level is measured at 87.3db. Way below the 95db noise limit here in California, so no need to worry about the cops harrassing you. The fitment is near perfect as you can see from the pictures.

Bone stock baseline dyno was 255.2 and the dyno after the exhaust was installed was 260.3hp (same day, same conditions). I was actually surprised by the 5hp peak gain for only adding an axle back system.

On with the pictures.....

Thanks! I'm sure it will look 10x better after the car is lowered.

sweet, love the canisters. Wish they could've made a design similar to this for the coupes as a choice rather than just the uber expensive ti option.

very nice, I have heard the HKS HiPower exhaust myself on a VQ35HR 350Z and it sounded amazing. I listened to both the HKS and FI exhaust on VQ35HR 350Z's and the HKS sounded more aggresive to me. So I cant wait for an 07+ G35 sedan variant.

I think they look too big, just me though. Nice work on letting them fit them on your car, I would hope they are hooking you up!

they look nice at an angle but the pic from dead center doesnt look good. Impressed you got 5hp to the wheels with just the axel back system, that speaks volumes for HKS...i dont think i got 5hp from my stillen and thats a full exhaust system.

not bad but it looks too big for a stock body sedan. A kitted sedan could pull it off.
