Aftermarket Sedan Exhaust Compilation
Okay noob question as I've never done this mod before:
I have a 2005 g35x and I bought this megan racing oe axle back. Is it possible that I've lost power with this mod? It just feels slower with lower rpms
I didn't buy this to gain power too anyways. I just want something non stock sounding and it did its job. It's just feels weird. Maybe it's just me?

Looking to get an aftermarket muffler from another vehicle and fit it on. See if I can get an interesting sound.
I ran the tanabe rear section from another car..definitely possible, i'm getting ready to do a custom setup. Only part i know for certain right now is an 18"L 3" in and out vibrant resonator.
3" single all the way? When I was looking to do a custom setup from the owner of Labree he recommended that. As for a muffler from a different car, what car did you get yours from. My problem is figuring out which one to go with and what sweet exhaust i can find.
Search junkyards for different types maybe? Check some other forums and see who might be willing to help you out. I could see how some types of mufflers would give a unique sound, but finding it will take time....

I'm not looking to replace exhaust with a CATBACK etc as I have a little one and not a ton to spare. So, with that being said, any recommendations for a good looking cost effective replacement for the stock muffler? My buddy has a Volvo he recently had done and it sounds deeper and smooth. Kind of what I'm looking for. Anything around 100-150? 2003 G35 Sedan
