FS: extremely rare set Dual LED ring skyline taillights G35 coupe

I'm selling my original dual ring LED setup, since I made a second set. Most people have already seen the original thread here:

https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...aillights.html

Obviously this was an entirely custom job. You can't just buy this setup off the shelf from anywhere. The extra LED ring is from the 05-06 G35 sedan taillights. The signal bulb is a very bright LED drop in bulb. Load resistors have been already installed to avoid hyperblinking. The sides of the lights have two rows of LEDs. I keep all the stock LEDs lit so that it didn't look like the other Infiniti cars with only two rings per side. However, if you don't want the 3/4/5 LED array lit up, just unplug the stock connector to them (this can be done in 5 seconds per side without opening up the lights).

Everything is in excellent condition. There are no chips or noticeable scratches on the lenses. I had this setup for a few months, and it never leaked any water with me washing the car weekly. It'll plug directly into the stock harness. You do not need to do any splicing/soldering, and therefore everything can be returned to stock form. The stock trunk release button is fully functional.

The only issue just to be fair, is that there was some overflow of glue when I sealed up the passenger side. No one has ever noticed it in person unless I pointed it out, but I'll point it out in a pic below.

Set as of today. WYSIWYG

Back side. All the wires were soldered for strong connections, and heat shrink wrapped. No simple splice connections.

Close up of the stock ring.

Close up of the donor ring.

A pic where the glue overflowed in 2 places. It's clear glue so not noticeable esp when installed.

Pic of the two control boxes. In order for the extra ring to light up with parking lights and then light up brighter with the brakes (like the stock ring), I used the two PCB boards from the sedan lights. I sealed them in potting compound so that they're waterproof and shockproof. I installed these in the trunk cabin, and was able to have everything fit as stock. (one control box used per side).

Night pics.

Daytime.

Some build pics, so people know what was involved.

This set took me about 3-4 months to complete working here and there. I timed myself with the second set that I made, and it came out to 45 hours worth of work.

SOLD!

Did not know sedans came with 5mm leds . 5mm leds are well known for reliability issues and low viewing angle and are not normally used for automotive applications for many reasons . Dont know why infiniti did that expecially since the coupe uses the standard superflux leds .You really wont see those leds on any other oem taillight system . I did however say you did a good install and the leds i now know are not your fault .

Thanks. My next set is here:

Yes, the LEDs were from the stock 05-06 sedan lights. I wasn't going to use any non OEM LEDs.

I'm in Torrance, and I work in Long Beach. Though this isn't something that I would try to install when I'm at work.
