if so you can use it but you lose the truck feature. This remote is for the FX.

You really want this

No mine is the standard square one and has no trunk release. I just wanted to make sure that I could upgrade to the one u have above ,with trunk release, even tho the FCC number is different...

Dont understand you. But if your original remote has a trunk release button then you want the new remote to have it too. If it doesnt I'm sure you can get the 4 button remote and the trunk release just wouldnt function.

^^Sorry for being so vague, having issues uploading a pic on here. Mines is just a generic FOB w/o trunk release. The FCC code is also different. Looks like Ill be getting a good price on the FOB you recommend and will let you know how it turns out. Also, has anyone tried re-programming the remote? I found a site that gives instructions...

Yeah I talked to him and he did say something about no paypal. Maybe it was a good thing. My last remote I got for $13 shipped so $40+ feels high to me.

I want to change my second remote.

You dont program the remote. You take the internals of your current remote and place it in the new remote. The new remote is nothing but a shell. So its still the same "Remote" program just a different case. You dont even need to case to operate the remote. Just have a battery and the board and thats a keyfob.
