CAN ANYONE CLARIFY HOW TO DO THE WIRING!!! PLEASE!!!

Do you wire from the button spots and relocate underneath the new buttons????

So from the gold (copper) button 'spots' do you solder there and then extend this wire underneath the 'black dots' which are then under the new button locations?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

I had a few of these sitting around and finally got to doing this DIY. I ended up getting the wrong
KeyFob but used "Hanguk9117's" method of super gluing the buttons. Worked great!
Thank you OP and "Hanguk"!

You can go to any wal mart (or canadian tire), they will charge 3$ to cut it or free if you are lucky. Those 2 stores carry the axxess system that has been flawless cutting keys for my friends with the switchblades and stock keys. Other machines wont fit the key.

Its platform A - key blank38

Word of advice, remove the stock chip from your key before going in the store. They will put it in the tester and get stupid about cutting it "store policy not to cut any keys with chips in them"

it wont matter if the key is original or blank as long as one of them has a chip they have given me issues. So i just take out the chip and then they cut them without any issues and warn me that the key may not start the car... yada yada yada which we all know is not true once the chip is back in

Good luck

This is going to sound dumb as hell but, what's a chip.

Do you mean the key fob?

its a little rectangular chip that is referred to as the transponder. It is hidden in the actual key, usually a green cap covers it on the g35 keys.

You will have to remove that if you get a switchblade key or other key for the car to start.

Good luck
