No man.. I am not a professional electrician. As you can see on the pictures, my soldering skill is just good enough to do this project. If people paying something for my work, I want to back it up with a guarantee. I cannot guarantee my soldering work. Sorry.

Great work! Does the intellikey fob not have a clear plastic piece with the button s so you don't have to cut the old plastic sheet up and realign?

Good question. The smartkey fob buttons are soldered permanetly on the board.

Got my FOB. Waiting for my Cold Heat Soldering Iron. The one I have is a POS. Hopefully it will work good. Ruler worked perfect to open the smart key. Took 20 seconds

The Cold heat soldering iron is an absolute piece of ****. No one buy it. I'm just gonna get a new tip for my regular iron.

I just got ready to do this and looked at the inside of my new fob and its different than yours. The buttons don't reach to the circuit board like yours. Can I make this one work or did I waste $32?
