Not really, its more work than most people are probably willing to pay. I don't really like doing work for other people at a rate less than $30/hr and it takes 2-4 hours to get the mod perfect. That means with parts you are looking at least $150+shipping

I already ruined the circuit board so I couldnt sell it. Kinda funny...I took thumb tacks, like the one pictured below and cut the top off and then filed it to the right diameter and height to make a spacer so that the Exterior button touches the functional one.

Did you guys tape the front of the board off then poke the copper wire though the tape and into the holes on the board and then solder them on the backside?

I actually did this assuming the pics the OP posted were his final product. I soldered and wired everything exactly like he did. I even taped everything down and had the battery in place... as soon as the fob arrived today I swaped out internals and everything actually worked without adjustment. Piece of cake!!

[QUOTE=parklife]7.This is the hardest part. Soldering.
Attachment 86064
Make sure you layer it with tape to prevent the copper to move around.
The panic button remains in the same place. No need for soldering.
Attachment 86065

I need to ask a noob question. Do I need to solder the whole cooper to the board. Or just the blacken part shown on the picture? and for the truck button, do I only solder the copper to the hole?

just poke the copper through the appropriate holes and solder them on the backside of the pcb board

so it is possible to just buy this key fob off ebay, take it to the dealership and have them program it for my Coupe yes?..or is this only available for the 05/06 Coupes?

If so, I'm assuming they charge an arm/leg to do this?

AFAIK, you cannot use the 06/07 fob on your 03-05 coupe, period.

You CAN use it, but the internals in it are trash. You have to replace them with the board you have in your current fob. It cannot be programmed for your car. Thats why this thread exists... so you can mod it to work.
