I've been having this problem for about a year. I park the car in my garage so I just leave it unlocked. The one thing I haven't see anyone ask is if there could be a possible correlation with using a battery tender. I don't drive my G often so it's constantly plugged in to to prevent battery drain. I assume it cycles on and off to keep the battery charged. Could that be what's causing my false alarms? It only happens one or two times a week.

You can't activate the alarm with the hood switch in the open position I think. I suspect maybe the hood is closing just far enough for the hood switch to close, then it's popping slightly open and setting off the alarm.
You can always permanently install your battery tender cord up to the front of the car behind the bumper, then the cable just hangs behind the bumper.

Or just unplug the hood switch if you think that's the problem. I believe that switch is "open" when the hood is closed and connects to ground when the hood is opened. So if unplugged, you should be able to set the alarm with the hood in any position.
Also, I cut a little slot in my battery cover lid so the short battery tender wire can pass through with that lid closed, then I ran the wire over the rubber seal so the connector appears near the windshield wipers. I velcro it away into the battery compartment if not needed for a while.
