I depends on how close, if not so close the I would pay because the NON-PNP is a little involved. If he is a close friend then I would say feed the guy and some beer.

+1/\ He better know what he is doing becasue the wires are very tiny and you will only have a couple of attempts to get it right. Remember to soder and heat shrink them when you are done for a good connection. And ground to pin 4 not to the chase (less lines on the screen)

Thumbs down

WOW I still dont have my car back from getting these items installed He is telling me everytime he has the tv/dvd module and the audio hardness connected a fuse blows or something like that. He called Dominic and he was saying something about some wires can be crossed...................so now he has to spend more time seeing what wires go where and just hope it works. WOW this is going to be some nice labor costs for me

The plug that comes with the unit is not the greatest. He has to check if he is getting the right power. Where is getting the power from? Is the polarity crossed? Fuses do not blow up for no reason. Tell him to check all the wires before he shoots power into them.

I just conferenced Dominic and the installer, I hope they figured it out. He already fixed on of the wires that was crossed and they went over the harness and found another pair! He is now ripping the car apart again so I HOPE IT WORKS!
