Eh... if that ever happens, then just start stripping wires and really hardwire the thing

If you move it around a whole lot it's likely to come unplugged. But that's if you're moving your detector constantly or something like that.

I just wanted to clarify things because I'm interested in this setup. So, I have to purchase the Invisicord AND the Mike mount from two separate ppl, right? Is Mike's mount still available? With the setup and mount, is the radar detector still easily removable for when I want to put the radar detector away in the glove compartment?

Hi Everyone,

We're a new sponsor here at G35driver and to celebrate we're offering 30% to all G35driver members.

Rather than splicing into your factor wiring harness or running a wire from your fuse box, the SRD cord from Stealth Cords is a discrete power cord solution that connects your compatible Radar Detector to your factory powered rear view mirror.

Our sale runs into the end of Feb - so don't miss out.

https://g35driver.com/forums/accessories-vendor/201268-30-off-discrete-radar-detector-power-cords.html

All the Best!

Thank you for your support!

I cant push my invisicord wires all the way into the plug, so the slightest movement of the cable turns off the radar, is there an easier way to push the wires in more? I fell like i'm trying to push them in pretty hard but they wont even budge..

Did you get the attachment required for the G35s? The metal tip of the splicer needs to be smaller for the harness on the G35s...

Is it easy to remove the V1 from the rear view mirror mount(www.countryjoycrafts.com)?
Im always in the city and need to remove the V1 from sight.
How exactly is the V1 clipped on to the mount? does it clip on like the suction cup mount?

which would you guys recommend mikes mount or countryjoycrafts.com? Is mikes mount made out of aluminun too? Does the mounts cause rattling?

thanks

If you have a good sledge hammer and a hard surface like a sturdy metal table clamp, you can just hammer that piece down to fit... a grinder works too...

DAMN!!! Got the "SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT" on!!!
I've just installed the invisicord with the mount.
First time I've tried to install the invisicord I guess I plugged the wires all wrong, and that messed up the power in my car. The engine wouldn't turn on, it was like my car had no power from the battery. But eventually I got the plugs all right but now the service engine light is on. How do i reset the engine? and do you guys think i cause significant damage to my car? thanks
