woo hoo.
after 8 long months of CD Error plauging my HU i finally bought one (out of warranty)
installed yesterday. took some time but well worth it!
i still cant believe i had to go through all that trouble though...

So you waited until your car was OUT of warranty before you replaced the CD player?
What was the logic behind this? If it was under warranty, why couldn't you take it to the dealership? If you didn't want a stock HU replacement, why didn't you just get an aftermarket HU 8 months ago? It wouldn't void any other part of your vehicle's warranty to replace the factory HU.

it was out of warranty when it happened. of course i would have done it then...
i waited due to being lazy and didnt want to spend the money for a dd. (got the replacement used for 150)
