Help! no sound after doudle din install!!

okay i just finished installing a alpine HU and 4 channel amp. everything works fine except i get no sound coming out. i double checked all the wires but i can't figure it out. i used a bestbuy wiring harness if that helps. i searched and some said to connect the power antenna with the ground amp and ground wire, tried that but no luck. Any ideas?? thanks

Are you running all the speakers through the amp/ any running through the HU. If all running through the amp recheck the RCA cables

how did you connect into the factory wiring to run to your amp??? sounds like your harness is not working...you can always just tap the signal by the stock bose amp

Does the amp have a power status light on it? is it on?
Also what preamps are you plugging that amp into the back of your deck?
Make sure your deck preamps are enabled in your deck options..?
Did you run wires to all the speakers from the new amp or did you tap the ones going to the bose amp?
Just trying to get a better understanding of whats going on. It will be a lot easier to help you once these things are clarified.

sorry for the confusion guys, i'll try to clear it up alittle. okay for the wiring harness i connected everything but the power antenna, and illumination. grounded the amp turn on and the ground wire together. i channeled the power, remote turn on, and RCA wires all to the trunk. the ground wire for the amp i just screwed to the chassis(sanded off the paint first). Now for the for bose speaker wires i just tapped the bose wiring harness.

got the bose wiring info from this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=bose+wires

hope this clears things up for you guys. again, i thank everyone for your inputs.

Is your amp turned on? Grounding the turn on lead may be your problem. The turn on needs +12 volts.

To turn on, your amp needs constant +12 volts from the battery, a ground, and +12 volts to the turn on lead, which turns on the amp.

If, as you posted, you connected the amp turn on to ground, then no +12 volts is going to the amp. You can connect the turn on lead to the power antenna lead.

i think i know what your trying to say. so i should connect the amp turn on wire(black/white) and power antenna(blue) together and ground it to get the 12v, or connect the power antenna(blue) and remote turn on(blue/white) together to get that 12v?

There is no grounding involved in the turn on wire. + and - don't mix. I don't know what colr your wires are.
