Bringing this thread back from the dead. Thank you so much for the above info. Electronics Masters took 2 hours to repair, $300, lifetime warranty, even replaced my clock light . DONE DEAL. Sad part was there were 4 other broken G's in the parking lot. This guy does 15-20 a month. We keep him in business lol.

it has been a while so I am not sure I recall. I think he said the power supply was never strong enough from the manufacturer and it was only a matter of time before it would need to be repaired. Mine has been going strong ever since. No issues. He replaced the light in my clock too. Thats funny!

^^Yep the power supply for the AC controls & radio was replaced. Mine was flickering on and off for a few weeks before it finally went dead. Had no radio for 3 weeks before I stopped being lazy and called him up.

Try wiggling the key a little bit(anticlockwise) when the problem starts ...it should fix itself and reset......worked for me..

Can someone conclude these 9 pages.. I've read through some of them and there are lots of prices and methods on how to fix this issue. I was wondering what the best possible solution to this issue is??

Aftermarket radio and trim kit. Prices for the conversion start at $180 and go up to whatever you're willing to pay.

Before jumping to this conclusion, my 03 coupe had this same problem last night where the AC was frozen to on and the radio stopped working. Just disconnected the battery and pulled the stereo fuse by the battery and reconnected everything and it seems to be working again.

My fuse did seem oddly easy to come out and a bit higher up than all the rest so i'm hoping it was just too loose for whatever reason. Either way, i'm going to start getting a working knowledge of Wrather's thread and other double din options in case it does creep up again.

So I ran into this issue yesterday for the first time in my 06 Sedan. I was stressing out but I found this post on youtube:

Just removing the stereo fuze resaolved my issue...for now. I also had the issue where my a/c wouldn't cool unless I turned it down to 60 degrees. The video tells you how to fix that too. Hope it helps someone else!

I own a 2003 G35 Coupe and I also had problems with my air conditioner and radio as others have described. I took my car to John Huang at XW Electric Co. in El Monte California. He charged me $200 and completed the repair in approximately 45 minutes. He can be reached at (626) 757-0465, 3608 Arden Dr. Suite J, El Monte, CA.

My ac buttons nor seat heaters dont work AT ALL its 25 degrees outside and when i go to press any ac control button nothing happens my radio works fine and i have power going to all of my center console hints the whole console lighting up. I would rather not take it into the dealership because i dont want my pockets drained i hope its a simple fix. What could be the issue?

I'm about to go in on this circuit board issue... My car is going on its 3rd replacement radio. I'm seriously considering going aftermarket if :
I can find a screen that will match the orange interior
a dash kit that doesn't have rubbery stupid ac control buttons,
AND being positive there is a way to hook up the stereo controls to the aftermarket player.
anyone with suggestions on those three things I would love to hear.. NOW back to the ster'eo.. its an 03 sedan, had the "voluntary campaign recall" completed in 03 at the local Infiniti dealership. worked for about 60k miles then same issues all over again!! At that point I brought the car to a body shop that I knew a few people, and got the circuit board replaced. that also worked for like 40k miles (yes shes got 135k :-/ ) I did a ton of research and someone posted a diagram of the circuit board with which resistors might need resoldering. SO a few weekends ago I used a youtube vid to take my car apart (piece of cake btw) I got the radio out, then without any guidance kept taking it apart until I got to the circuit board.. I was expecting rust or some sort of damage, but it looked brand new. I noticed a teeny bit 0of yellow stuff that looked like corrosion around a few resistors so I just cleaned that off and resoldered a little bit hoping that was the issue.. after I put everything back together it worked!!! everything worked perfectly! now.. 3 weeks later damnit it went out again. theres no pattern whatsoever, speed, turns, humitidy, weather, volume, heat, how long it sits or drives, NOTHING no pattern whatsoever when it acts up so I can not narrow down the problem!!! I work two jobs and pay all my bills and obv am not trying to spend a fortune!! CHEAPEST, CUTEST, PERMANENT FIX?!

I found a solution to the radio and A/C issue! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001JT1FGY. This fixes the ac issue and allows you to install a radio of your choice.. Hope it helps.
